Meet Nurse Oluchi Chioma Madubuike the Winner of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2021
Oluchi Madubuike, a Registered Nurse who represented Abuja last month beat other 36 women to emerge the winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) for the year 2021. Below is everything you need to know about the Nigeria Beauty Queen.

Oluchi, 25 from Abia State lost her dad ten years ago to blood cancer otherwise known as leukemia. Although she is a Nigerian by birth, she currently resides in Detroit, Michigan, United States.
Education
Oluchi had her Primary and Secondary school education at Charles Dale Memorial International School in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, she later relocated to the United States.
In 2013, she enrolled at The University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas, USA to study Bachelor degree in Nursing. On May 11, 2017, Oluchi earned her Bachelor Degree in Nursing with Magna Cum laude. Her research topic was titled, “Facilitating the Integration of Nigerian Nurses into a U.S. Hospital Environment.”
While in School, the Beauty Queen with Brain participated in the Africa in Texas Beauty contest a crown which she won and was crowned Miss Africa Texas in 2016.
After Miss Oluchi worked as a nurse at Baylor Scott and White Health in Waco, Texas, United States before leaving for Detroit to work as an emergency room nurse for ADEX Medical Staffing in Detroit, US.
In May, 2019, she represented Abia at Miss Nigeria USA 2019 at the Kumble Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, USA and lost the crown to Funmike Lagoke.
Oluchi Madubuike is expected to go on to represent Nigeria at the 2021 Miss World pageant, scheduled to take place in Puerto Rico on Dec 16, 2021.
Pet Project
Miss Oluchi has announced the launch of her new project. She took to her Instagram page last week to announce a new campaign which she termed her “passion project.”
According to her, the project, which is geared towards children living with cancer, was part of her task as MBGN 2021.
Sharing a video about the project, she captioned, “I cannot wait to hit the ground running with this passion project. This video was created to fulfill my #mbgn2021 task 2 requirement talking about an organization I endorse.” (sic)
She also revealed she was partnering with an organization to assist children living with cancer, in order to create awareness and provide “help and support them in whatever way I can.”
“I don’t just want to be an advocate but I strive to bring about sustainable solutions that can make an impact in the lives of these children and their families,” she posted on her Instagram page.
