As for the incessant strikes in hospitals across the country, Professor Yusuf said “we all know as physicians, nurses Pharmacists and health workers no lbody goes to strike happily doing it, but we are all appealing to each and everyone of us to look deep into our conscience and see what is the effect of the actions we take.”

Earlier, the National Chairman of WACP and College vice-president (Nigeria), Dr. Abel Nze Onunu said Nigeria is a country with a lot of resources both human and material , but we have not gotten it right in the health sector and as a result of that the “meeting is about examining the problems and challenges of the health sector in a scientific manner.”
