NMCN Accreditation Team Visits UDUTH School of Post Basic Paediatrics
Accreditation Team from the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria yesterday Tuesday 6th February, 2018 paid accreditation visitation to the School of Post Basic Paediatrics being established by the Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
In her remarks, the Acting Chief Medical Director Dr. (Mrs.) C.E. Shehu welcomed the Team to the Hospital and described the visit as a dream come true. She thanked the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria for accepting to come and urged the team to be objective on the exercise not minding to mention areas that needs improvement. She also assured the team of Management readiness to establish more training Schools in the Hospital to meet the needs of Health Personnel within the region.
Earlier, in his remarks, the leader of the team Dr. Sale Garba Ngaski thanked the Hospital Management for the warm reception accorded his team and expressed the team readiness to carry out the exercise objectively. He added that, for any Institution to be allowed to run a course, some minimum requirements must be met, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto is not an exception.
