NPHCDA Staffer Attracts Medical Outreach Services to Her Community in Bauchi
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency ( NPHCDA) has conducted a medical outreach in Kirfi, Kirfi local government, Bauchi State. The outreach, which is the first according to the agency, was conducted to appreciate one of its directors who emerged as the best staffer of the agency in 2017.
Hajiya Aisha Lami Abubakar, the agency’s director of administration and human resources,who hails from Kirfi Local Government in Bauchi State, emerged as the best staff of the agency.
Speaking, the executive director of the agency, Dr Faisal Shu’aib said that the reward system was introduced in order to motivate the staff of the agency to put in their best.
He said that the agency decided to conduct the medical outreach in the community so that it benefits from the hardwork, honesty and dedication to work shown by their daughter.
He said that the agency targets 50,000 beneficiaries in the exercise which he said will last for some days.
Dr Shu’aib informed that the same exercise will be conducted in communities of staff of the agency that excelled in various areas.
In her speech, Hajiya Aisha said that she is grateful for the agency and its staff especially the executive director for recognising and rewarding her effort by rendering medical help to her community.
She called on members of the community to participate in the exercise and attend the General Hospital where the exercise is being conducted in order to be examined by doctors and given the appropriate medication.
In his welcome address, the head of administration, Kirfi Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Shu’aibu thanked the agency for recognizing their daughter.
He also commended Hajiya Aisha for distinguishing herself as a true daughter who came from a respected family saying that what she brought to the community will help a lot in addressing the challenges of many ailments.
While speaking, the Wazirin Bauchi, Alhaji Bello Kirfi, who is also the father of Hajiya Aisha Lami Abubakar, commended his daughter and her co-workers at the agency for helping her people.
He said the exercise was a proof of her contributions to the development of the agency which he said has transformed the healthcare delivery mechanism in the country over the years.
