Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital Sokoto Receives MDCN Accreditation Team
The Management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto under the able leadership of its Chief Medical Director, Dr Yakubu Ahmed has today Monday 29th January 2018 receives accreditation team from Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Receiving the team, Dr Yakubu Ahmed welcome them to Sokoto for this important assignment. He stresses that, considering the distance of Sokoto to other centers, accreditation of the Hospital and University programmes is of paramount importance.
The Chief Medical Director said all preparations have been put in place and urged the team to their time go round the Hospital to see the positive development recorded by the present administration.
Earlier in his remarks, the team leader of the panel Professor Dili Dogo said they were assigned by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria for routine accreditation of Medicine department of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital.
He added that, the teams to go round the Hospital and the university to assess the progress achieved. The team leader thanked the Hospital for warm reception accorded to them during the visit.
