A Nurse Open Letter to NMA on the Ongoing JOHESU Strike
My Open letter
Through
JOHESU
Through
FEDERALGOVERNMENT
To
NMA
Dear Doctors,
It is so disheartening to hear you wailing and crying over the JOHESU strike even when the strike is not being addressed to you.
Permit me to remind you the strike is addressed to the federal government and the last l checked you are not the federal government. When will our government realise the worth of other health professional and treat us the way we deserved.
On this note , l stand for NURSES!
Do the doctors really know what it takes to be a nurse? I guess you don’t.
If you do, you wont criticize the JOHESU strike.
You accuse JOHESU’s demand as being being selfish, even when you know the selfishness itself is right in your blood.
We all have our right, what has requesting for our right got to do with beefing you doctors?
Do you know your problem? You seeing others as slaves, and you think you deserves something better than them. We are not disputing the fact that you spend 6years in school.
However, the number of years doesn’t make you a boss over others.
You claimed you treat…Good!
Who administer the drugs?….NURSES
Who produce the drugs?….pharmacists
Who stays with the patients?….NURSES
Who carry out test….medical lab scientist.
This ‘bossing’ must stop …other health professional are also relevant.
Enough is Enough!
Nurses and doctors are not rivals ..stop the rivalry!
We are not your slaves !
We can never be!
We are both health professional!
Stop delaying our progress!
Stop speaking for the federal government
And to the federal government, why is it difficult to feel the impact of NURSES. Guess it is because our leaders dont utilize our federal hospitals, they prefer travelling out for the procurement of health services …too bad!
Bad government ….selfish doctors equals poor health system.
I know you can’t be bothered about the strike since your private hospitals is well patronized…that is not my headache though.
All l have got to tell you is to stop the misinterpretation of the strike and face your business. Stop the side talks, stop the distraction.
Stop taking mist mag for the fed. government’s stomachache.
Since Doctors are all in all then I don’t think the hospital should be down since the Doctors can do it on their own and other health workers are irrelevant.
