ICN And The World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) To Launch Online CPD
The International Council of Nurses has partnered with the World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) the world’s leading continuing education platform to develop a platform for continuing nursing education which will be launched later this year.
The ICN will allow selected accredited educators and universities to upload education to the ICN network which will be shared around the world through the ICN education portal and a network of nursing associations.
WCEA is currently accepting application for nursing educators across the globe to develop content for the proposed program. To participate, you participate go to www.wcea.education/nursing-educator and reserve your space.

How much does it cost?
Registration on the ICN Education Portal is Free. Authors can supply e-learning for free or charge for their e-learning. If you purchase e-learning the Author receives 85% with 15% charged as a transaction fee. You can purchase e-learning with your credit card or PayPal account.
Continuing Professional Development
Many Nursing ICN professionals are required to complete a legislated amount of CPD. It is your individual responsibility to ensure that any e-learning that you study for CPD will comply. Before taking / purchasing e-learning you can view an example certificate that will be provided when you have completed the course. When e-learning is accredited, the accrediting body and accreditation amount will be displayed on the certificate.
How does it work?
The ICN Portal is powered by WCEA. WCEA supplies specialist Learning Management Systems to Nursing ICN Associations, Training Organizations and Manufacturers and the Free CE LMS to Nursing ICN experts around the world. These Organizations and individuals can supply their e-learning to their own trainees and also distribute their e-learning through the International Council of Nurses Education Portal.
Who controls the quality of the e-learning content?
E-learning is reviewed before being placed onto the Portal. When you complete each piece of e-learning you will be asked to give a Peer Review. Your Peer Reviews help other trainees to select from the best ranking e-learning ensuring that the highest quality e-learning is prioritized
Is e-learning Accredited?
E-learning is sourced from Nursing ICN experts around the world. When e-learning is accredited the Accreditation is noted on the completion certificate. When you search for e-learning you are able to filter your search results by e-learning that is accredited by selected accrediting agencies
Tracking your e-learning
You are provided with a “Education Tracker”. All e-learning that you study on the Education Portal is recorded in the Education Tracker and you can also upload details on external e-learning courses creating one central place for your e-learning records. If you have CPD requirements the tracker monitors your progress and you can create reports to provide to legislators.
Can my Nursing ICN Association host this e-learning?
