Project Summary
The UNFPA Integrated Reproductive Health & Mentoring activity is a 6-month intervention implemented by FHI 360 and Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) in Borno and Benue states. The overall goal of the activity is to meet the most urgent reproductive health (RH) and mentoring needs of 285,000 conflict affected underserved adolescents, youth and women through gender sensitive, rights-based approaches within host and reclaimed communities and IDP camps in north-east (Borno) and north central Nigeria (Benue).
Responsibilities
* Midwife will deliver quality integrated reproductive health, services and documentation of all activities in target Communities in intervention states Provide integrated Reproductive Health services in target communities and facilities through mobile outreaches in communities and facilities. Specific services include:
* HIV testing and counselling,
* Quality FP counselling services to all girls and women, with options to opt out,
* Non-prescriptive and LARC services to acceptors
* Antenatal and Postnatal services
Minimum Recruitment Standards
* Registered Midwife with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience.
* Possess appropriate certification in nationally approved training packages for Family Planning, Emergency Obstetric Care and other Sexual and Reproductive Health Packages
* Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
* Fluency in written and spoken English, proficiency in local dialect and Hausa language is required.
