Panic as Nursing and Midwifery Council Comes after Texilla University, others

Thousands of Nigerian Nurses are in panic mode as the regulatory board of Nursing in the country comes down on online universities offering nursing degree.

In a circular dated 26th of January, 2018 the Coucil had said that it does not Recognize any Online Bsnc program within and outside the country.

Recall that Texilla America University an online university based in Guyana has become popular among Nigerian nurses lately where nurses earn their university degree without stepping a foot out of their house or country.

It is not clear how the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria is going to enforce this ban on online degree as Bachelor degree in Nursing is not registrable with the regulatory agency.
